Tech News: Tech giant Apple has filed a lawsuit against one of its former employees. The company has alleged that this employee joined the Chinese smartphone company Oppo by taking the company's confidential documents (trade secrets). Apple says that its sensor system architect Chen Shi has shared secret information of health sensing technology related to Apple Watch with Oppo.

How was it revealed?

According to Apple's complaint, before leaving the company, Chen Xi held several personal meetings with the Apple Watch technical team and collected research-related information. Not only this, but the company alleges that just 3 days before his resignation, he downloaded 63 secret documents and saved them in a USB drive.

The employee's internet search history revealed

Apple said that before extracting the secret details, Xi searched on the Internet for various things like "How to wipe out a MacBook" and "Can somebody see if I've opened a file on a shared drive?"

Questions also arose on Oppo

According to reports, Apple claims that Oppo was aware of the entire matter. The company supported Shi in this work. In a text message, Shi told Oppo's vice-president that he is continuously meeting with Apple officials and trying to collect as many details as possible.

According to Apple, Shi was working on projects related to health sensing technology in the company. This included secret and advanced projects like ECG sensor technology. Currently, he is leading the team working on sensing technology in Oppo.
